We offer a number of industry panels and masterclasses with an emphasis on independent movie theaters and documentary film curating as part of the Beldocs Market, which this year will bring together over 100 guests, both filmmakers and industry representatives.
This year’s main themes include film curation, the value of film reviews, and the survival of independent cinema theaters. Every year, more exceptional documentary films are produced, raising the question of what criteria determine which ones make it to the big screen. Finally, three masterclasses will be held by renowned film directors – Travis Wilkerson, Viera Čákanyová, Nicole Foelsterl and Marte Roel Lesur, as well as Angelika Ramlow from Arsenal – Institute for Film and Video Art.
Beldocs Industry Days 2023 programs are supported by the European Union through Creative Europe MEDIA.
