Karpo Godina has been both a director and a cinematographer in most of his documentary films. In addition to this, he was a cinematographer in great Yugoslav films, such as ’Early Works’ and ’Occupation in 26 Pictures’. His lecture will touch upon the process of making a film in which the director is also the camera operator, the advantages and disadvantages of such an approach, as well as the freedom it brings to the author.
