Hanging Over the Atlantic
Fionn Walshe — Ireland — 2019 — 9'
Dursey Island is linked to the mainland by a single cable car. This lifeline allows its people to call Dursey Island home. Sitting on the furthest edge of Ireland, life on the island has never been easy for the inhabitants. First opened in 1969, it remains the sole cable car in Ireland and the island’s sole link to the rest of Ireland and the world.
