Król Maciuś Pierwszy
Jaśmina Wójcik — Poland — 2025 — 75'
The days of sisters Zoya and Lea are filled with play, discoveries and conversations. In addition to their daily quarrels, Zoya and Lea are very close. As time goes by, the older sister increasingly separates from the younger one and prefers to spend time reading or hanging out with her peers. However, both sisters are afraid of growing up and believe that adults are indifferent to the destruction of the world, whether it is environmental disasters or wars.
Co-organized by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of the international cultural program of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2025.
