During the 90s in a war-torn country, transvestite Merlin and prostitute Sanela live together in the suburbs of Belgrade and see their profession as a pacifist mission. Merlin restrains the urges of rapists, gamblers and excited young men, cools the boiling blood of violent Dinarides and enriches it with love, full of understanding. Johnny comes home from the war, his motives are similar, but the methods are violent.
