Ozymandias
Misho Antadze — Georgia — 2021 — 70'
Despite Georgia’s banishment of the public display of monuments to Stalin, the figure still populates the landscape. From a children’s tour at the Stalin Museum to a drunken Stalin impersonator posted by a fragment of the Berlin wall to an expansive field alleged to be a mass grave―are the remains of Stalin’s presence effectively erased, or have they transformed into camouflaged assimilation?
