Jan Šikl — Czech RepublicSlovakia — 2021 — 100'
For more than 30 years, Jan Šikl has been collecting amateur films of different families. Recently, he has found 3.5 hours of professionally filmed material that captures the invasion of Czechoslovakia by the Warsaw Pact armies in 1968. Nobody has seen the footage since. As Jan Šikl begins to search for the people and places captured in the videos, memories of specific events come back to life.
